Flat Frame Scenery
Building traditional flat frame scenery in on edge, and mortice and tenon style, using 3" x 1" PSE and 3.6mm / 6mm ply, all for flown, moving and stationary scenery.

Making treads (standard, angled or curved) with and without the use of a CNC machine.
Treads made for 'Sweat' and 'Appropriate' at RWCMD.
Wild Creations Ltd
6 week work placement, based in Carpentry and CNC department.
Working with different materials on a variety of jobs, including Par 59 Bar, Cardiff and BlueManGroup Proscenium arch for World Tour.
Creating a substructure underneath fiberglass shell to reinforce it, allowing people to walk over the top of it.
Scribing in formers to fit the shape of the fiberglass shell, and using the disc sander to put angled chamfers on the edges, following the contour. Fitted to the inside of the fiberglass with expanding foam and screws.
Programming, Operating and Assembling CNC structure for Par 59 Mini golf hole.
Assembling 4" and 5" PVC pipe for BlueManGroup Proscenium arch. Pipe is coated in UV paint, glowing under light. Made up of 4 layers.
Building onto the steel frame, and joining layers and sections together.
Finished Results!
LED tape embedded into pipe for added glowing effect.
2nd Fix Work
2nd fix work on the set of 'Shook' (des. Chloe Stokes) for RWCMDs Caird Studio.
Adding skirting, architrave, making doors and adding door furniture.
Test build and 2nd Fix for 'Shook' at Llanishen Scenic Workshops

Making a wardrobe department touring station for The Lion King.

Cladding 40x40 ERW frames with 3.6mm ply, and layering CNC ply to add features.

Substage rostra for 'Much Ado About Nothing'
Aluminium beams clad in 10mm Oak strips, glued on using silicone adhesive, and shaped using belt sander, plane and draw knife.
